Kal: hona ho

We were inspired to start this newsletter because we saw an interesting Codie Sanchez video however more than the actual commercial aspects of it; I did want to find a mechanism to record my thoughts.

There is much more flow with interaction and it was actually LV who pushed me to put my thoughts to words. Initially the ideation centred on the places that we visit since as a child-free couple, we do like to go out and about.

In the true spirit of contrariness however I wanted to scale the concept to our shared lives, which have been fruitful & rewarding but also grounded in humility and compassion. The first name of this newsletter was "Hier", which means yesterday in French, but we've both agreed that Kal, the Hindi equivalent, has much more resonance. Because life isn't just about yesterdays but also our tomorrows and Kal, is probably the only word which means both. It is a probably a deepest nod to the Hindu cycle of creation, where the past & future are looped together in an endless Dharmic Wheel.
